It’s all boring…

“It’s all boring and a bugger!”

Daddy explained to Talise that when she went to sleep, the fairies came to protect her and keep her safe. Talise asked how they got in. Daddy said that, being magic, they came in however they wanted to – such as through the walls and windows. Talise was concerned that they would break the walls. Daddy was a bit stumped at changed the subject.

Daddy: “Butterflies are pretty, aren’t they?”
Talise: “Yes. Spiders are not pretty.”

“He’s a idiot, mum.”
– re drivers who are too slow, etc.

Mummy: “We don’t want to sit down, because we’re active.”
Talise: “No, we’re detectives.”

In the car…
“I want quiet music – I don’t want dance.”

Mummy gave Talise a passport photo…

Daddy gave Talise an empty juice bottle to fill with water from the paddling pool, to water the plants. Daddy then caught Talise drinking the pool water from the bottle. “No, Talise – that’s for the plants!” said Daddy. “I want to be a plant…” said Talise, sadly.

Mummy gave Talise a passport photo of Mummy. Talise said, “Where does it go?” Mummy said, “I don’t know.” Talise ran off, then returned, clutching a passport photo of Talise, and said, “They need to be together.”
