We had a conversation about the moon, in which Talise said someone was eating it and it needed to be fixed with hammers and nails.

Daddy: “Do you like dinosaurs?”
Talise: “I just like dolls and ponies.”

Talise: “My hair’s getting so long, it’s getting in my eyes. I need to have a haircut, don’t I?”
Daddy: “Yes, you’ll have to ask Mummy about that.”
Talise: “I don’t want to have a haircut, but I have to.”

“When you have a sneeze, you say bless you, and when you trump you say… nothing!”

“Thank you for wool and old man sock!”

Upon going to bed…
“I will dream of cake – and you too, Mummy.”

She told a little girl off today for mispronouncing “spider” – the little girl said “bider”…
“It’s a spider,” said Talise indignantly. “You said ‘b’!”

“Gibbita, gibbita!”

While watching the toy adverts on Milkshake/Channel 5, Talise pointed out which toys were for boys and which were for girls – e.g. Thomas play set “for boys,” Little Pet Shop play set “for girls”…!
